Not a blogger

I am not a natural blogger, I simply don’t have that much to say and this website is mainly to promote hamradio and my interest in radio technology, QRP, Contesting and SOTA. To adminster this homepage in a easy way I am using Wordpress.

My gear - in a red bag

I used to have a good setup, with many antennas and large rigs and very active in contests on CW as SM6KRI, when living in Gothenburg at west-coast of Sweden. Now living here in Västerås city, it’s difficult to get permit by the landlord to have any antenna on the apartment buildings, and I cannot cope with the heavy interferences here in city. So all equipment I use now are carried in a small red rucksack, containing an Elecraft K1 QRP transceiver, small ATU:s, wires, cables and other good stuff needed and always ready for go portable outdoors anytime. Mainly the antenna is either a homemade  dipole with 600 ohm ladderline or an end-fed wire.

My QSL-card

My QSL Card

I guess you are checking this site because we actually recently had a QSO on one of the hambands… And pherhaps you got my QSL.

Nice to meet You again OM!

It would be my pleasure to confirm our contact but please send me a REAL qsl-card, that is: such an old-fashioned piece of paper showing our call-signs and the qso-details .. QSL via the bureau is fine. I do not respond to, nor confirming or use any kind of digital requests like eQSL or LOTW.

Contesters, Normaly I don’t send out QSL for all contacts made in contest, however I will always reply if i get one from you!
